3. Youth and Young Families Position
Tasman Bible Church is situated near the township of Motueka, Nelson. An evangelical congregation of around 70 adults, 15 children and 20 teens/young adults, we want to focus more effectively on reaching out and encouraging the growing number of families moving into our district.
We are looking for someone to work with young families and teens on a part-time basis (in the order of 2-3 days a week). The young families component would largely consist of following up on contacts made at our thriving Mainly Music programme and encouraging young families within the church. The youth component would involve heading up a small "Revolution Youth" leadership team. Our primary youth focus is to encourage young people in their walk with Christ and reach out to other local young people with the gospel.
Hours are very flexible (especially the young families component), and remuneration would be open to negotiation. We are also open to the option of splitting the position between a suitably gifted husband and wife team.
