'I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received.
Be completely humble and gentle, be patient,
bearing with one another in love. Make every
effort to keep the unity of the Spirit
through the bond of peace.
There is one body and one Spirit -
just as you were called to one hope when you were called -
one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all,
who is over all and through all and in all.'
'I will give them singleness of heart and action
so that they will always fear me for their own good.'
'I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you.'
'Good and upright is the LORD;
therefore he instructs sinners in his ways.
He guides the humble in what is right
and teaches them his way.
All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth
for those who keep the demands of his covenant.'
'That all of them may be one, Father,
just as you are in me, and I am in you.
May they also be one in us so that the world
may believe that you have sent me.'

The Web Site Story How it all came about!
BACKGROUND
Following the Strength and Unity conference held at Massey University Campus, Palmerston North in 2001, a representative group of Brethren assembly service-providers from the conference met at Taupo Bible Chapel on 22nd June 2001 to consider follow-on action. This Taupo meeting appointed an establishment committee to consider the next steps necessary to create an "assembly web site" in response to that called for by conference attendees, and called for this group to report to the next Taupo meeting planned for Dec 2001.

Since writing the above, one of the keenest and most talented people associated with the establishment of this website was fellow-believer, Andrew Hooper. Even during his illness, Andrew encouraged and shared his specialist and technical knowledge to help make this web-site a reality. His passion was to see the Internet used to glorify God and to encourage God's people. We are thrilled he saw, at least in part, the fulfilment of his vision. We rejoice Andrew is now with his Lord but we grieve the loss of a talented friend and mentor.
